How Every Roofing Job Runs

Most roofing arguments start with a vague quote. So every job we take runs on the same written rules: photos first, price in writing, then the work.

Photos Before Price

You see what failed before anyone tells you what it costs. A photograph of a split pipe boot is hard to argue with. A salesman on your driveway is not.

How a Job Runs

  1. 1

You call or send the form

Tell us what you see: the stain, the missing shingles, the age of the roof. Photos from the ground help.

  2. 2

    We get on the roof

The roof is walked where it is safe, and the attic is checked where there is access. The stain is rarely under the leak, so we trace it back.

  3. 3

    You see the photos

You are shown what failed before anyone talks about price. Not a description from the ground.

  4. 4

You get the price in writing

A written scope and price before any work starts. If the roof is near the end, the repair and the replacement are priced side by side.

  5. 5

    The work gets done

On the day we said. If something changes, you get a call, not a surprise.

  6. 6

    You get the after photos

The finished work is photographed, the site is cleaned up, and the warranty starts.

Every estimate includes

  • ✓Photographs of what failed, taken on the roof
  • ✓What will be replaced, named, not just "repair leak"
  • ✓One price, in writing, before work starts
  • ✓A per-sheet rate for decking, in case rot turns up under the old roof
  • ✓Whether the ceiling or insulation inside is part of the job

When something changes

  • ✓If the tear-off shows more damage, we stop and show you
  • ✓You hear what we found and what it costs before we go further
  • ✓Nothing is added to the price without your approval

After the work

  • ✓Our work carries a 60 to 90 day warranty, depending on the job
  • ✓Ask which term applies when your written price comes through
  • ✓Debris is hauled away and the yard and driveway get a magnet sweep for nails
  • ✓You get photographs of the finished work

Hours and response time

  • ✓Open Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are not a 24-hour business
  • ✓Roof leaks and storm damage are scheduled within 48 hours. Scheduled work, not dispatch
  • ✓Outside our hours, fill out the form and mark it as an emergency, or call and leave a message. We respond during business hours
  • ✓After a big storm everyone calls at once. We tell you honestly where you are in the queue
  • ✓Commercial clients can book short-notice, after-hours and weekend work, quoted per job

What we do not do

  • ✓Talk you into a new roof you do not need. If a repair will do, you hear that first
  • ✓Call sealant a flashing repair. Sealant is maintenance
  • ✓Coat a flat roof over wet insulation
  • ✓Promise an insurance claim will be approved. The insurer decides
  • ✓Plumbing, HVAC or remodeling. Those are separate trades

Proof You Can Check

  • Bonded and insured. Workers' compensation and business liability on every job. A certificate of insurance comes with the proposal on request.
  • A 60 to 90 day warranty. On our work, with the term depending on the job.
  • 5.0 on Google, 4 reviews. Read them.
  • Working since 2020. All Purpose Roofers is the roofing brand of All Purpose Anytime Services LLC.
  • A real address. 6965 Heather Drive, Suite A, Bryans Road, MD 20616.
